Town:         Watertown
Troop:        64074

What issue did your Take Action project address?
Low bat populations, raising awareness of the need for bats in our community.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
We wanted to raise awareness of how important bats are, and teach that you shouldn't be afraid of bats. Our troop developed a new recess game called bats and bugs.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
We handed out brochures we printed to other girl scout troops, and taught the game to a brownie troop.

What did you learn from the experience?
That bats are important and that teaching others is fun
