What issue did your Take Action project address?
Soldiers overseas, cheering them up with cards and snacks, books, socks, and other essentials.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
We made hundreds of cards over the year, held a drive to collect supplies to send to our troops, packaged, sealed, labeled, and mailed over 40 boxes overseas to our US troops with the help of Cindy of the SCW.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
We received a signed Certificate of Appreciation from one of the detachments as well as several thank you cards. We also are invited to visit a detachment and tour their helicopters when they return to the USA.

What did you learn from the experience?
We became more confident, met new people, had fun, and felt good helping cheer up our troops!
