What issue did your Take Action project address?
The lack of troop leaders for an inner city Daisy troop.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
We started a Daisy troop for girls who would not have a had girl scouting experience because they had no troop leader. My friend, Sabrina and I started a Daisy troop with help from our troop leader.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
We were able to expose new girls to the exciting world of girls scouts. We were able to share our love of girl scouting with them. We helped them to become better community members by helping them to earn their Daisy petals and learn the girl scout law.

What did you learn from the experience?
We learned how to be better organized. We needed to know exactly what we need to run a full hour meeting every other week. We had to have an activity that tied in to the petal we were working on. we also came to realize how much fun but how much work involves being a troop leader. But we loved sharing our knowledge our girl scouting with younger girls.
