Troop:        63815

What issue did your Take Action project address?
Because we couldn't help build a house [for Habitat for Humanity], we delivered baked goods to the volunteers and made gifts for the homeowners.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
I involved the Coast Guard, my Girl Scout sisters, my parents, and the Habitat for Humanity volunteers.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
We assisted the volunteers to build a house for a woman who needed it.

What did you learn from the experience?
Helping others can reveal great opportunities for people and yourself. Helping is the greatest habit to get into.
