What issue did your Take Action project address?
The Coast Guard Cadets were building a house for Habitat for Humanity. Even though we couldn't build, we helped with decorations for the house for the family and gave the cadets snack breaks. We baked cookies and brought fruit and coffee to those that were working.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
The girls working on the project were me, Ainsley, Sarah, and Elyse. The adults were Mrs. Schafer, Mrs. Rose, and Mrs. Servidio. We also worked with the cadets and habitat for humanity.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
The results were that the cadets completed house and we made decorations for the family. We made flower boxes and I made a wreath for the front door. It had an impact on the community because with everyone working together we helped somebody find a home.

What did you learn from the experience?
I learned that even though you do a small thing in a big project your help is always appreciated.
