What issue did your Take Action project address?
We helped the people in Habitat for Humanity by bringing snacks and making things for the house like window boxes, birdfeeders, etc. We also made thank you cards for the volunteers from the Coast Guard a few times.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
Some people who helped me were Mom, Dad, Mrs. Schafer, Mrs. Rose, the man from Habitat for Humanity, and my fellow Girl Scouts Jessica, Ainsley, and Elyse.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
The results were astonishing. The house came out perfect and the family who got the house was amazed and so, so, thankful. It impacted the community by giving a family a home to live in.

What did you learn from the experience?
I learned it takes a lot of work to get the job done and you can't do it alone. But in the end I was so thankful I got to take part in a tremendous project like this. Girl Scouts has helped me learn the way of life. Thank you so much.
