Local delegates head off to Girl Scouts 51st National Convention
Hartford, CT - October 27, 2008 - As the country focuses its attention on the upcoming elections, Girl Scouts from across the country are traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to cast their vote at Girl Scouts of the USA's 51st Convention. Girl Scouts of Connecticut
Prior to the National Convention, girls will take part in a Girl Scout Leadership Institute, where they will participate in workshops covering a variety of topics important to girls - including everything from Online Security to Eating Disorders, Stress Management to Self-Esteem. In addition, several national celebrities such as MTV's SuChin Pak and the Simmon's sisters, and Disney Radio's Keke Palmer - many of which are Girl Scouts - will be on-hand to hold workshops and entertain the girls.
