Golf Outing to Benefit Girl Scouts of Connecticut

The 12th Annual Housatonic Classic Golf Tournament to benefit Girl Scouts of Connecticut will take place Monday, July 21 at Tashua Knolls Golf Club in Trumbull from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.Just announced as a Dinner Host Sponsor for the 12th Annual Housatonic Classic Golf Tournament is General Electric Company; with Eastern Mountain Sports as the Box Lunch Host for the tournament.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with both scramble and best ball formats; shotgun tee-off to start at 10:00 a.m. Entry fee is $225 per player; which includes golf cart, greens fees, range, lunch, cocktail reception and awards dinner. A silent auction and drawing will take place at dinner.  Deadline for individual golfer registration is Friday, July 18 at noon.

Net proceeds from the Housatonic Classic Golf Tournament will support Girl Scout leadership development programs that help girls in grades K - 12 bring out the best in themselves and their communities. Through effective Girl Scout programs, girls are encouraged to discover the world around them, connect with the needs of others, and take action to make the world a better place. Trained Girl Scout volunteers and professional staff help girls prepare for the challenges of today and the future by establishing positive values, building leadership skills, and developing self-esteem.
