Girl Scouts of Connecticut to Host Camp Tours

Adults and Girls are Invited to Come out and See Girl Scout Camps

April 1, 2008-

Adults and girls are invited to take a tour of a Girl Scout camp to experience first-hand. Girl Scout Camp facilities, crafts, snacks, as well as meet staff members on site to answer your questions at all 14 camps operated by Girl Scouts of Connecticut.Come check out some of the many program enhancements made to the camp facilities such as winterized buildings,ropes/climbing courses, and improved boating/water activities at some of the camps.

Visitors are invited to bring a picnic lunch and hiking shoes, tour the facilities, and get a feeling for how the girls will enjoy nature and the great outdoors while not being all that far from civilization. Meet the Camp Directors and learn more about special programs offered. Tours will run throughout the open house hours, unless otherwise noted.

  • Camp Anseox      Oxford       May 18, 2-4:00 p.m.
  • Camp Aspetuck  Weston       April 27, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
  • Camp Candlewood   New Fairfield     May 4, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Camp Carlson     Bristol       May 4, 12-2:00 p.m.
  • CampClatter Valley New Milford      July 13, 4-6:00 p.m.
  • Camp Kotoya       Milford      April 6, 2-4:00 p.m.
  • Camp Laurel Day  Lebanon     May 18, 2-4:00 p.m.
  • Camp Merrie-Wood  Manchester  May 18, 12-2:00 p.m.
  • Camp Murray    East Haven    April 6, 12-2:00 p.m.
  • Camp Pattagansett    East Lyme   May 4, 2-4:00 p.m.
  • Rocky Craig    Stamford      April 27, 2008 p.m.

  • Laurel Resident    Lebanon     May 18, 12- 2:00 p.m.
