Girl Scouts of Connecticut a proud participant at La Feria de la Familia

Approximately 12,000 people attended Telemundo’s 7th Family Expo, La Feria de la Familia, on September 30 at the XL Center in Hartford.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut was pleased to be a part of this event, as representatives handed out flyers and information about troops and exciting programs in Connecticut. Staff was also on hand to share information and answer questions about how to join the organization as a volunteer, while displaying newly translated materials in Spanish.

The Feria de la Familia (Family Expo) has become one of the largest Hispanic events in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The event served more than 15,000 people last year.
