ALL Girls and Families invited to Summer Camp Open Houses on May 6

April 9, 2012

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is hosting fun open house events at all of its summer camps on Sunday, May 6 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The Girl Scout camps will be open for the public and families to attend and discover the exciting summer camp programs designed for all girls entering grades 1-12. The open houses will allow families to tour the facilities, meet with camp directors and staff members, and learn about camp life.

“With nine day camps located throughout the state and three residential camps, Girl Scouts of Connecticut offers all girls a safe, fun environment where they can discover their individual strengths, connect with new friends, and take action in their communities,” said Linda Bresky, Director of Outdoor Program. “Girls participating in our summer camp programs feel a sense of inclusion and community that helps to boost their confidence.”
