Thursdays, July 11,18, 25 and Aug. 1, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
*August 1 will include a Pinning Ceremony
Activities will include learning more about Girl Scouts, stories, crafts, games and songs.
Cost: $15.00 includes registration fee, supplies and pin. Please make checks payable to GSOFCT.
Financial aid available upon request.

Girlz R.U.L.E. (Respect, Understand, Lead, Empower) is an anti-bullying program designed for girls. Girl Scouts of Connecticut has developed this signature initiative and there are programs throughout the state. Volunteers are needed to facilitate this program to girls in grades three through eight, which may be offered during school hours, immediately after school, or in one-day workshops or events.
There is no cost for this training. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, bring a lunch and covered mug. More trainings will be offered throughout the membership year. To register, contact Hannah Granfield.

What do Energy and Trash have in common? Girl Scouts of CT is holding its final Energy Adventure for the year at the Trash Museum in Hartford; Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 10:00 – noon. Girls from Brownies through Ambassadors earn an energy patch after completing 6 interactive stations where they learn about electricity, and how it does (and sometimes doesn’t!) get to our homes. The 100th Anniversary team has put together a helpful packet of ideas and tips for such an event. This is also the perfect time to recognize all the Girl Scouts who have earned the 100,000 Hours of Service Patch.

Girl Scouts is turning 100 and we are putting together a time capsule that will be put away for 50 years.
Then at the 150th celebration, it will be opened for everyone to see it. The Time Capsule will also be
shown at the Jubilee and the International Camporee. Girls of all ages are welcome to bring items* they
feel represent Girl Scouts in the year 2012. Get ready to make your case for your item, because as a
group we will vote on what goes in the capsule. Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors can sleep over at
Camp Pattagansett, and Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors can join us the next morning.
