Girlz R.U.L.E. (Respect, Understand, Lead, Empower) is an anti-bullying program designed for girls. Girl Scouts of Connecticut has developed this signature initiative and there are programs throughout the state. Volunteers are needed to facilitate this program to girls in grades three through eight, which may be offered during school hours, immediately after school, or in one-day workshops or events.
There is no cost for this training. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, bring a lunch and covered mug. More trainings will be offered throughout the membership year. To register, contact Hannah Granfield.

Women Take Flight is an opportunity for Girl Scouts of all ages and levels to immerse themselves in the world of aviation and meet remarkable women who have pioneered careers for the next generation of women in aviation and aerospace. Presentations are made throughout the day featuring the experiences and achievements of these women. Actresses take the roles of early pilots and bring history to life through theatrical presentations. Hands-on build-and-fly activities will be offered by Connecticut Women in Aviation International and Society of Women Engineers. Join the Quinnipiac Womens Hockey Team for fun filled afternoon as they take on rivals Cornell. Following the game, meet your favorite Women Bobcats for a post game skate. Please bring or borrow ice skates. Girl members can attend for free if they are in Girl Scout uniform. Ticket prices are: $2.00 per person, $1.00 for children 12 and under, 1/2 price to anyone who is with a Girl Scout.
