Girlz R.U.L.E. (Respect, Understand, Lead, Empower) is an anti-bullying program designed for girls. Girl Scouts of Connecticut has developed this signature initiative and there are programs throughout the state. Volunteers are needed to facilitate this program to girls in grades three through eight, which may be offered during school hours, immediately after school, or in one-day workshops or events.
There is no cost for this training. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, bring a lunch and covered mug. More trainings will be offered throughout the membership year. To register, contact Hannah Granfield.

Camp on the great lawn and join 400 Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as you participate in workshops offered by highly-qualified engineers, technicians, and executives who are employed at Sikorsky Aircraft. Sessions are designed to stimulate interest in high tech career fields. Participants will visit fascinating displays within the Sikorsky Aircraft production center, and may have the opportunity to experience a flight simulator. Meals and patch included. Please bring or borrow ice skates. Girl members can attend for free if they are in Girl Scout uniform. Ticket prices are $1.00 per person if accompanied by a Girl Scout. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Quinnipiac box office (203-582-3757) or www.quinnipiacbobcats.com.
