TR14817 First Aid/CPR/AED Challenge - Deep River

DEADLINE DATE 4/10/2014 Fee $50.00. First Aid/Adult & Child CPR/AED challenge takes place on Saturday 4/12/2014, 2:30pm - 4:30pm, at the Deep River Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, Deep River, CT. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. This course challenges participants to know the skills needed to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Course length: 2 hours. Participants will be asked to take written tests first to show knowledge of the materials. Those who successfully complete the written tests will demonstrate their skills in First Aid/CPR and AED. Everyone who successfully completes these steps will receive certification in Adult & child CPR, AED and First Aid. This will meet the requirements for a Level I First Aider for troops/groups.
