TR14806 First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning - North Haven

DEADLINE DATE 12/3/2013 Fee $50.00. First Aid/Adult & Child CPR/AED Blended Learning takes place on Tuesday 12/10/2013, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, at the North Haven Service Center, 20 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Course length: 2 hours plus on-line coursework. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive certification in Adult & child CPR, AED and First Aid. This will meet the requirements for a Level I First Aider for troops/groups. Participants must present their certificate of completion for the on-line portion of this course. Bring: Your certificate of completion of the American Red Cross on-line work. Without it, you will not be allowed to demonstrate your skills. You may view the materials on-line at A link to the on-line portion will be provided to you prior to the course demonstration date.
