This course does not include any review practice sessions or opportunities for questions. Participants are expected to be ready to take the written exam when they arrive. Everyone must successfully complete the written exam to demonstrate skills. This course is ideal for people who have been through the process of recertification before. Course length: 1 hour


To prepare for the class: This is a challenge class - Student are advised to review the materials prior to the class. They are available at www.redcross.org There will be no review or skills coaching during the session. Students must successfully pass the written exam before they will be allowed to demonstrate the necessary skills. Students who are unsuccessful will be invited to participate in a full refresher course at the discression of the facilitators. Be on time - late comers will not be permitted to attend the class Wear comfortable clothing. You will be on the floor for a part of the class Arrive early to complete paperwork Remove all make up and lipstick prior to arrival. This will protect the manikins from added chemicals.
