8/5/12 9:00am - 8/10/12 5:00pm DEADLINE DATE 6/1/12 Individual girls entering 5th grade and older at the time of the event may attend and spaces are limited. Adult volunteers will staff the event. An International Camporee is a gathering of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from the USA and around the world to share cultures, ideas, and friendship. Our 2012 event includes a girl forum based on the WAGGGS' commitment to helping the world provide adequate food for all. Girls will address the ways in which they want to change the world through a better understanding of nutrition, food sources, and world food supplies. Participants will celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting, develop new friendships while enjoying a variety of activities, sing-a-longs, camp traditions, and much more! Each participant will leave with a plan to help change the world, even if it is just their little corner of it.
At Camp Laurel, of course! Parking off-site with shuttle busses to camp will allow us to host hundreds of guests! Balance due on confirmation received before 4/01/12 reflects the early bird discount. If the balance due is paid after 04/01/12 add $15 for day camp and $30 for resident camp. Confirmations received after 04/01/12 reflect the regular price (not early bird).
