PG13134-Telescopes, Nebulae, and Galaxies-Lebanon

3/9/13 7:30pm-9pm Deadline Date 2/22/13- Why does the sky move at night? Explore different types of telescopes and how lenses work, and then learn about galaxies, clusters and nebulae. On a clear night try to see the Andromeda Galaxy with just your eyes, then again through the telescope. Receive an observation starter log set.




A portion of the workshop will take place under the stars, so be sure to dress for the weather. Please bring a red flashlight (we have colored cellophane to cover white flashlights if you cannot find red ones). Attendees may bring their own telescopes.
