I spent 4 wonderful years at Camp Alice Merritt. That is where I learned to swim in the lake. I developed a love of nature and have enjoyed camping ever since and I am now 75 years old. Camp was a wonderful place for a city kid. I remember the dining hall was named "Kip" and we had to get our own supplies after eating lunch and bring them back to our unit so we could make or own dinner over the campfire. Just remembering these treasured years brings tears to my eyes...Thank you Camp Alice Merritt.
