A blanket of warmth Posted: Aug 29, 2012 My troop earned their Bronze Award by making blankets for the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at Yale New Haven Hospital. My sister was in the hospital for 10 weeks and she was given a blanket. I saw how happy the blanket made her and I wanted to do that for other kids. It was so much fun working on the blankets together. We posted on our Service Unit's Facebook page asking other troops to make blankets and we were so happy when troop 50060 made some in honor of my sister! See more Girl Scout Memories [ Back ]
