UConn Cookie Fever
Posted: Jan 22, 2012
My Brownie daughter and I had just picked up our troop's cookies and had stopped at a gas station near the UConn campus. We had cookies stacked up so high you could see them in all the windows. As a climbed out I saw a car full of coeds the next pump over talking animatedly and pointing excitedly towards our car. I turned to my daughter and said, "Those guys need cookies." She was amazed that I could tell. I asked the most eager student (who was trying to get his courage up) if he wanted cookies. He turned to the others and yelled, "They're selling cookies!!!" I opened my back hatch and my daughter took and filled orders over the back of the seat! She still thinks we ought to drive to that gas station with our next order.
