UConn Cookie Fever Posted: Jan 22, 2012 My Brownie daughter and I had just picked up our troop's cookies and had stopped at a gas station near the UConn campus. We had cookies stacked up so high you could see them in all the windows. As a climbed out I saw a car full of coeds the next pump over talking animatedly and pointing excitedly towards our car. I turned to my daughter and said, "Those guys need cookies." She was amazed that I could tell. I asked the most eager student (who was trying to get his courage up) if he wanted cookies. He turned to the others and yelled, "They're selling cookies!!!" I opened my back hatch and my daughter took and filled orders over the back of the seat!
