Brownies help at Barktoberfest Posted: Nov 3, 2010 The Connecticut Humane Society wrote, "we would like to extend special thanks to Brownie Girl Scout Troop #62211 and Troop Leader Melissa Salgado of Cromwell, CT for participating in our 3rd Annual Barktoberfest. The troop baked an enormous batch of homemade dog treats and sold them at the festival. They were very enthusiastic and made wonderful sales ladies. By the end of the event, the troop made an amazing profit of $154 and donated it all to the shelter!"
